General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President, Thongloun Sisoulith, has sent a congratulatory message to To Lam following his election as State President of Vietnam.
In his message, President Thongloun extended warm congratulations to President To Lam, who was elected during the inaugural session of the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam.
He said the appointment reflects the strong trust and confidence placed in President To Lam by the Party, State and people of Vietnam, as well as recognition of his leadership, achievements, and long-standing contributions to national development.
President Thongloun expressed confidence that President To Lam will continue to guide Vietnam toward further progress in implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, aiming to build a prosperous nation characterized by democracy, justice, and civilization.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with President To Lam to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.
He said the partnership will continue to deliver tangible benefits to both nations while contributing to regional and global peace, stability, and development.
President Thongloun concluded by wishing President To Lam good health, happiness, and success in his new role.
