On the morning of October 16, 2025, Mr. Anuthit Chanvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, accompanied by his spouse and a high-level delegation, arrived at Wattay International Airport, Vientiane Capital, for an official visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).

(KPL) On the morning of October 16, 2025, Mr. Anuthit Chanvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, accompanied by his spouse and a high-level delegation, arrived at Wattay International Airport, Vientiane Capital, for an official visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR).
The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed at the airport by Mr. Leklai Sivilay, Minister of Public Works and Transport and Honorary Minister, along with senior officials and representatives from both the Lao and Thai sides.
This official visit to the Lao PDR is made in response to an invitation from Mr. Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao PDR. The visit aims to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and expand cooperative relations between the two neighboring countries as strategic partners for mutual growth and sustainable development. It also reaffirms the shared commitment of Laos and Thailand to continue deepening their long-standing ties for the prosperity and well-being of both nations and peoples.
