ADMM-Retreat to be held in Luang Prabang

ຂປລ (KPL) Laos will host the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Retreat (ADMM-Retreat) in Luang Prabang on March 24, 2024. A meeting on preparing for the ADMM-Retreat was held in Vientiane on Feb 21 under the presidency of Minister of National Defence, Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath.

(KPL) Laos will host the ASEAN Defence Ministers' Meeting Retreat (ADMM-Retreat) in Luang Prabang on March 24, 2024.
A meeting on preparing for the ADMM-Retreat was held in Vientiane on Feb 21 under the presidency of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath.
Maj. Gen. Saychay Kommasit, Chief of the Ministry of National Defence Office and ASEAN Defence Senior Official for the Lao PDR briefed the participants about preparations made with respect to the drafting of joint statement of the ADMM-Retreat on the implementation of the ASEAN Political-Security Community Blueprint 2025, and proposals. 
Col. Phuangxay Milakong, Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Relations briefed the meeting about the success of the meeting of ASEAN Defence Senior Officials and ASEAN-plus, which was held early this month in Luang Prabang. 
Delivering remarks at the meeting, Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath urged relevant authorities to pay attention to their preparation for the upcoming ADMM-Retreat.
