In a move set to enhance football coverage and development in Laos, the Lao National Football Federation (LNFF) and Lao Telecommunication Public Company (LTC) signed a three-year telecommunications support agreement today at LTC’s headquarters in Vientiane.
(KPL) In a move set to enhance football coverage and development in Laos, the Lao National Football Federation (LNFF) and Lao Telecommunication Public Company (LTC) signed a three-year telecommunications support agreement today at LTC’s headquarters in Vientiane.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Viphet Sihachak, President of LNFF, Mr. Souphon Chanthavixay, CEO of LTC; senior executives from both organizations, and members of the press.
The partnership, which runs from 2025 to 2028, will strengthen live broadcasting capabilities for domestic and international football matches hosted by the LNFF.
In his address, Mr. Viphet Sihachak emphasized the importance of the collaboration “This agreement marks another milestone in LNFF and LTC’s partnership, reflecting our joint commitment to advancing football in Laos. With improved broadcasting, we can bring the excitement of the game to more fans while showcasing our athletes on a larger stage.”
Mr. Latthapanya Khiawvongphachan, LTC’s Deputy CEO and Head of Sports, outlined the company’s contributions: “LTC is proud to power Lao football with high-speed Internet Leased Line services at all competition venues, ensuring seamless live broadcasts. Beyond infrastructure, we will also recognize top performers in each match with special awards—motivating players and raising the bar for Lao football.”
The agreement was formally signed by Mr. Viphet Sihachakr and Mr. Latthapanya Khiawvongphachan, solidifying a shared vision to merge sports and digital innovation.
With this initiative, LNFF and LTC aim to foster a stronger football culture while leveraging technology to connect fans and players nationwide.
