(KPL) The meeting to promote cooperation relations between ASEAN-China sister provinces and cities, which have established collaborative exchanges in various sectors, was held on June 5 in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, China. The Lao delegation was led by Mr. Vanxay Tavinyan, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee Propaganda and Training Board.

This meeting served as an important platform to bring together relevant parties, including local governments and business communities, to deepen cooperation in economy, trade, and investment between China and ASEAN under the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

This cooperation framework meeting has been held three times in Anhui Province, China. In November 2020, 15 countries participated, including 10 ASEAN member states and five free trade partner countries: Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand, which jointly signed the historic RCEP agreement.
