Luang Prabang Power Company Limited (LPCL), an associate company of CK Power Public Company Limited and developer of the Luang Prabang Hydroelectric Power Project, has provided medical equipment worth more than LAK 800 million to Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital to strengthen healthcare services for local communities.
The equipment includes a fetal heart rate monitor, a tonsillectomy surgical instrument set and an immunoassay analyser.Mr. Kitpoat Srasomsub, Deputy Managing Director – Construction of LPCL, handed over the equipment on behalf of the company to Mr. Phouvana Anoulackkham, Director of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital.The support is intended to strengthen the hospital’s capacity to conduct medical examinations, diagnosis and treatment, while improving access to quality healthcare services for people in the province.The initiative forms part of LPCL’s community development activities and contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which promotes good health and well-being.
