The Department of Meteorology and Hydrology has issued a flood warning for September 15, 2024, as a low-pressure system moves through northern Laos, particularly in the western regions, and continues toward central parts of the country.
Combined with strong southwestern monsoon winds, this system is expected to bring moderate to heavy rainfall across the country, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds in some areas.
