(KPL) Candidates for the 10th National Assembly representing Constituency 1 pledged to uphold the people’s interests, promote transparent governance and support sustainable national development during a campaign meeting with voters in Buengkhayong Village on Feb 11, 2026.
The campaign gathering was held at Buengkhayong Village temple in Sisattanak District, drawing residents from seven surrounding villages.
The delegation was led by Vientiane Capital Mayor Mr. Atsaphangthong Siphandone and included Deputy Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Ms. Dalany Phommavongsa, Director of the Vientiane Capital Department of Labour and Social Welfare Mr. Salaphid Sounvoravong, Director of the Department of Technology and Communications Mr. Thanongsit Muangchanh, and Director General of the Justice Monitoring Department Ms. Kanthina Paninhuan.
Candidates introduced their backgrounds, outlined development priorities for Vientiane Capital and pledged to represent the people’s rights and interests through the legislative process.
They encouraged eligible citizens to vote on Feb 22 and called for the selection of qualified representatives to support transparent governance and sustainable national development.
