Thongloun led a high-level Lao delegation to Cambodia during an official visit, with discussions focusing on strengthening party-to-party cooperation and expanding practical collaboration for mutual national development.
Both leaders underscored the summit as a key mechanism for deepening traditional friendship and enhancing coordination across political, economic and regional affairs.
Thongloun expressed appreciation for Cambodia’s hospitality and congratulated the Cambodian People’s Party on its achievements in national development and stability.
The two sides agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure bilateral cooperation delivers tangible benefits to the peoples of both countries and contributes to peace, stability and development in the region and beyond.
Officials from both parties described the summit as a new milestone in advancing cooperation between the two parties, governments and peoples of Laos and Cambodia.
