SPPO Delegation Pays Courtesy Call on Azerbaijan Prime Minister

ຂປລ A high-level delegation from the Supreme People’s Prosecutor’s Office (SPPO) of the Lao PDR, led by Mr. Xaysana Khotphouthone, President of the Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor of the Lao PDR, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during their official visit and working session in Azerbaijan on September 22, 2025.


Mr. Xaichana expressed gratitude for the warm reception extended by the Prime Minister and briefed him on the delegation’s program of activities in Azerbaijan, as well as on the socio-economic development of Laos and the work of the People’s Prosecutor’s Office.

Prime Minister Asadov warmly welcomed the Lao delegation and expressed high appreciation for the visit, describing it as an important milestone in strengthening the long-standing friendly relations between the two countries. He stressed that closer cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of Laos and Azerbaijan would help foster capacity building, delegation exchanges, and continuous institutional development of the Lao Prosecutor’s Office.
