The Vientiane Capital Party Committee, led by Mr. Anuphab Tunalom, Member of the Central Party Secretariat, Secretary of the Party Committee, and President of the Vientiane People’s Council, held a wreath-laying ceremony this morning at the Unknown Soldiers’ Monument.

The ceremony was organized to mark the upcoming 8th Congress of the Vientiane Capital Party Committee and to pay tribute to the Lao revolutionary heroes who sacrificed their lives for national liberation.

In their remarks, officials emphasized that the event was a solemn expression of deep respect and enduring gratitude to those who fought bravely under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party. Their sacrifices paved the way for the nation’s historic victory, independence, and the establishment of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic on December 2, 1975.
The ceremony also underscored the values of patriotism, unity, and revolutionary spirit, which continue to inspire the Lao people and guide the nation’s political leadership today.
