(KPL) The Tad Loh and Tad Hang waterfalls in Saravan Province, renowned for their scenic beauty and appeal to both domestic and international tourists, are scheduled to reopen at the end of September.

These popular natural attractions have undergone extensive improvements to enhance the visitor experience, offering opportunities for swimming, sightseeing, and relaxation in the picturesque surroundings.

Situated in Hua Khua Set village, Lao Ngam District, Saravan Province, the waterfalls are approximately 31 kilometers from Saravan town along Route 20, leading to Pakse. The falls, fed by the Xe Set River in Sekong Province, are particularly famous for their wide, cascading waters.

Ms. Sonthida Ou-naphom, President of Tad Yeuang Development Company Ltd., the primary investor in the redevelopment of the Tad Loh and Tad Hang waterfalls, emphasized in a media interview that these sites are key attractions not only in Saravan Province but throughout the southern region of Laos. The current investment aims to elevate the site to meet international standards, attracting more tourists from both within Laos and abroad.

In addition to enhancing the natural beauty of the waterfalls, the project focuses on environmental conservation and preserving the cultural heritage of local communities. Local residents are being involved in every step of the development process, with the dual goals of improving their livelihoods and safeguarding the area's cultural and natural heritage.

As part of the reopening efforts, various facilities are being developed, including guesthouses, conference rooms, restaurants, swimming areas, scenic walkways around the waterfalls, photo spots, picnic huts, souvenir shops, and other essential facilities. These upgrades are designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for visitors.
