ຂປລ (KPL) On Feb 27, Head of the Presidential Office Khemmany Pholsena received here in Vientiane new Ambassador of the United States of America to the Lao PDR Heather Variava.

(KPL) On Feb 27, Head of the Presidential Office Khemmany Pholsena received here in Vientiane new Ambassador of the United States of America to the Lao PDR Heather Variava. 

The host congratulated the US ambassador on her appointment to the post, expressing her confidence that the ambassador will contribute significantly to strengthening and the relations and cooperation between the two countries thus bringing benefits to the peoples of Laos and the US.

In reply, Mrs Heather Variava expressed her gratitude to the Head of the Presidential Office for her warm welcome and assured the host that she will do her utmost to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between Laos and the United States in various fields over years to come.
