Walking marks 75th anniversary of the Lao People’s Army

ຂປລ (KPL) The Ministry of Defense held a walk to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Army (Jan 20) in Vientiane Capital on Jan 18.

President Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath, government officials,joined the event in Vientiane on Jan 18 

(KPL) The Ministry of Defense held a walk to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People’s Army (Jan 20) in Vientiane Capital on Jan 18.The walk, starting and ending at That Laung Special Economic Zones, was officiated by President Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, Gen. Chansamone Chanyalath, government officials, solders, police officers and Vientiane residents also joined the event.


“Today is an important historical day for the nation, the Party, and the Lao Army, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary,” Ms. Inlavan Kebounphan, Vice President of Lao Front for National Construction.

“Over the past 75 years, our army completed the great and difficult missions assigned to the nation and the people in a dignified manner, creating outstanding works and masterpieces that have been decorated in the pages of history,” said Ms. Inlavan Kebounphan.
