5th Division Leadership Visits Champasack Province Public Security Forces Ahead of Anniversary

ຂປລ A senior delegation from the 5th Division of the Lao People’s Army visited the Public Security Headquarters in Champasack Province on April 2 to extend congratulations ahead of the 65th anniversary of the Lao People’s Public Security Forces.

(KPL) A senior delegation from the 5th Division of the Lao People’s Army visited the Public Security Headquarters in Champasack Province on April 2 to extend congratulations ahead of the 65th anniversary of the Lao People’s Public Security Forces.

The delegation was led by Khamkod Insina, Brigadier General and Political Chief of the 5th Division. They were received by Sivilay Keopaseuth, Deputy Head of the provincial Public Security Headquarters, along with senior officials.

During the visit, the delegation presented commemorative gift baskets marking the milestone anniversary, celebrated annually on April 5.

Brigadier General Khamkod Insina praised the Public Security Forces for their achievements over the past 65 years, highlighting their key role in maintaining political stability, peace, and public order—factors essential to national socio-economic development.

He also emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and solidarity between the 5th Division and provincial public security forces to effectively address social challenges.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to close coordination in tackling social issues and maintaining stability.

Colonel Sivilay Keopaseuth expressed appreciation for the visit and the continued support, noting that the gesture reflects strong ties and mutual respect between the armed forces and public security sector.
