(KPL) A senior Lao official has been reassigned following a decision by the Party Central Committee Politburo, announced at a ceremony on March 25.
The event, held at the National Culture Hall, was presided over by Suansavanh Vignaket, Minister of Culture and Tourism.
Under the order, Vansy Kuamua, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at the ministry, has been transferred to a new post at the Commission for Information and Education of the Party Central Committee.
In remarks at the ceremony, Ms Suansavanh said the reassignment reflected the trust of Party leadership and expressed confidence that the official would continue to contribute effectively in his new role.
