(KPL) A handover ceremony for the Head of the Naphao International Border Checkpoint Management Committee was held on March 4 at Sang Lang Khang Warehouse in Boualapha District, Khammouane Province.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Somchai Phanichan, Deputy Secretary of the Khammouane Provincial Party Committee in charge of political-ideological affairs and personnel work, along with the Head of the Provincial Finance Department and other invited officials.
During the event, Mr. Souphat Sousengtay, Acting Head of the Management Committee, presented a report summarizing leadership performance and task implementation during his tenure, as well as outlining strategic directions for future operations at the international checkpoint.
A representative of the Provincial Organization Committee then read Decision No. 468/GOK issued by the Governor of Khammouane Province, officially appointing Mr. Bounkham Xayyaseng, former Deputy Head of the Provincial Finance Department, as the new Head of the Naphao International Border Checkpoint Management Committee.
The appointment decree was presented by Mr. Somchai Phanichan, followed by the formal signing of the handover memorandum between the outgoing Acting Head and the newly appointed Head, marking the official transition of leadership.
