(KPL) Voters in Phonexay Village polling district, Luang Namtha Province, cast their ballots on the morning of Feb 22 for members of the 10th National Assembly and the 5th Provincial People’s Council.
The voting ceremony was held at the Luang Namtha Provincial Hall, where senior officials and local residents joined in exercising their democratic rights in an orderly and peaceful atmosphere.
Among those casting ballots were Amphaivone Lombounpheng, Member of the Party Central Committee and Head of the National Assembly Office, and Khamking Phouylamanivong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee. Both are candidates for the 10th National Assembly representing Constituency No. 3 of Luang Namtha.
Election officials ensured a transparent process, with voters receiving separate ballots for the National Assembly and the Provincial People’s Council. The voting was conducted in accordance with legal procedures, including identity verification and secret balloting.
The strong participation of local residents reflected public confidence and contributed to the overall success of the election process in the province.
