(KPL) Candidates for the 5th Provincial People’s Council representing Xayaboury District pledged to uphold Party policies, strengthen provincial development and represent public concerns during a campaign rally held on February 12, 2026, at Na Louam Village.
The campaign was led by Mr. Khamla Phiewvanna, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Secretary of the Xayaboury District Party, and attended by local authorities and residents from Houay Leuk, Na Louam, Houay Saen Kham, Pak Thang and Houay Sam Or villages.
Mr. Chanpheng Outhongkham, Chairman of the Xayaboury District Administrative Committee, introduced candidates contesting seats in the 10th National Assembly and the 5th Provincial People’s Council.
Provincial People’s Council candidates (Nos. 1–8) presented their platforms, committing to implement Party policies and government plans, represent the aspirations of the multi-ethnic Lao people and serve as a strong voice for Xayaboury’s development.
During the visit, the delegation also donated educational supplies to schools serving the five participating villages.
