They also discussed preparations for the upcoming state visit to the Lao PDR by His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni in June 2026, marking the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations, and exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone thanked the Cambodian side for the warm reception and invited Prime Minister Hun Manet to pay an official visit to Laos in 2027. Prime Minister Hun Manet reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
