According to press reports from local authorities, these deaths are in addition to approximately 100 people missing, some of whom may be added to the number of deaths.

According to the head of the River Commission of the eastern Ecuadorian province, Compétent Mboyo, the boat lacked a passenger list, so the total number of people on board is unknown.
