Co-organised by the Vietnamese cultural centre in Laos, the bilingual school, and the 19/5 art troupe, the event brought together representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese association in Vientiane, as well as teachers and students of the school.
It treated attendees to artistic performances that showcased cultural identities and honoured President Ho Chi Minh and the two countries’ great friendship. There were also captivating circus and magic acts by artists from the Vietnam Circus Federation.
In her remarks, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, the school's principal, stressed the significance of the event in nurturing and strengthening the pure and loyal relationship between Vietnam and Laos.
She said every teacher in her school carries a noble mission beyond teaching as they are pioneers and active contributors to promoting the Vietnamese language, serving as cultural ambassadors who introduce Vietnam’s cultural heritage to Lao people
