ຂປລ On October 11, 2024, at the Presidential Palace, Vientiane, President Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed Chinese Premier Li Qiang and his delegation during their official visit to Laos to participate in the 27th ASEAN-China Summit and related ASEAN meetings held in Vientiane on October 11-12, 2024.


(KPL) On October 11, 2024, at the Presidential Palace, Vientiane, President Thongloun Sisoulith welcomed Chinese Premier Li Qiang and his delegation during their official visit to Laos to participate in the 27th ASEAN-China Summit and related ASEAN meetings held in Vientiane on October 11-12, 2024.

On this occasion, President Thongloun Sisoulith expressed his warm welcome and high regard for Premier Li's visit and participation in the summits, emphasizing that this visit will play a significant role in enhancing the comprehensive cooperation between Laos and China as strategic partners.

He praised the deep-rooted friendship and strategic cooperation between the two nations, which continues to expand in standards, quality, and levels.

The President highlighted the key projects that are part of the Laos-China cooperation, particularly the Laos-China Railway, which has brought immense benefits to both countries since its official launch.

In addition, he noted the ongoing expansion of trade and investment, and the effectiveness of China's development aid to Laos. These contributions, he emphasized, are vital to the sustainable development of Laos' economy and society.
