(KPL) The 14th edition of the International Construction Fair, Fecons 2024, opened in Cuba on Tuesday. It is considered the country's leading platform to promote new contracts and investments in several spheres of the sector, according to Prensa Latina.

The event is held at Havana’s Pabexpo fairgrounds from Tuesday to April 26. A scientific and technical conference runs in parallel at the Conference Center in this capital.

Finished products, supplies and advanced technologies, technical services, and issues related to foreign trade and foreign investment are part of the exhibits at Fecons 2024, the Ministry of Construction (MICONS) announced.

The trade fair includes tools and mini mechanization, smart buildings, designs and projects, programming and control systems for construction budgets, and human resources training.

It also expects to present building materials and other products using nanotechnology.

Deputy Construction Minister Antonio Amaury Medina recently told reporters that the sector suffers a complex internal situation, but “we have to look for options. Events like Fecons contribute to this objective.”
