(KPL) Xanh SM Laos launched yesterday, Mar 1, electric taxi services in Savannakhet Province following its successful debut in Vientiane and touristy Vangvieng district of Vientiane Province last November.

This constitutes not only a milestone in the growth of Xanh, but also a demonstration of the company's commitment to popularizing the use of electric vehicles and environment protection in Laos.

With the launch of electric taxi services in Savannakhet, domestic people and visitors visiting Savannakhet can take pure electric taxi driven by professional drivers.

Customers can easily book a taxi either by using Xanh SM Laos application, contacting hotline 021 988 888 or just looking for any of them on the road.

Every day between Mar 11-17, Xanh SM Laos will give away 100 half-price-discount codes to customers. The codes can be used three times in the day.

Service expansion to Savannakhet is embedded in Xanh’s strategy on electric taxi service expansion, popularizing green travel among domestic residents and foreign visitors in Laos.

In the future, Xanh SM Laos will also expand "green travel" services to Luang Prabang, Champassak and other provinces and cities.

The expansion of service to Savannakhet also contributes to creating jobs, providing local people with the opportunity to access training and stable sources of income.
