ICT Minister receives a courtesy call from outgoing French ambassador

ຂປລ (KPL) Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Suansavanh Viyaket received here on Jul 14 a farewell visit from the French Ambassador to the Lao PDR Florence Jeanblanc-Risler who is going to end her diplomatic mission in the Lao PDR.

(KPL) Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism Suansavanh Viyaket received here on Jul 14 a farewell visit from the French Ambassador to the Lao PDR Florence Jeanblanc-Risler who is going to end her diplomatic mission in the Lao PDR.

Minister Suansavanh congratulated the Ambassador on her successful completion of her diplomatic mission in the Lao PDR noting that the ambassador has contributed significantly to strengthening the cooperation between the Lao PDR and France especially in areas of heritage conservation and cultural management.

Between 2016 and 2019, more than 175,000 French tourists visited the Lao PDR. Meanwhile more than 15,500 French tourists visited Laos last year.
