The Consular Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its announcement dated Jun 22, 2016 that passport application forms that are downloadable at the websites of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are different from those previously used.
The new forms with fewer pages are valid from Jun 30, 2016 onwards.
The objective of the improvement to the passport application process is to make the process more manageable and convenient for clients than in the past.
