(KPL) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane has expressed condolences to Thailand over severe flooding that has caused loss of life and property damage in Bangkok and several provinces.
In a condolence message sent to Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Thongsavanh conveyed his deepest sympathy on behalf of the Lao Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in his own name to the Thai people, particularly those affected by the flooding.
He expressed confidence that, under the attention and assistance of the Thai Government and local authorities, together with coordinated efforts from all sectors, the Thai people will overcome the difficulties and restore their livelihoods to normal as soon as possible.
