Thai Foreign Minister to Visit Laos, Co-Chair 23rd Lao-Thai Joint Commission

ຂປລ At the invitation of Mr. Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, will pay an official visit to Laos from September 30 to October 2, 2026.

(KPL) During the visit, Mr. Sihasak and Mr. Thongsavanh will co-chair the 23rd Meeting of the Lao-Thai Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JC-23).

The visit and meeting are expected to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and strategic partnership between Laos and Thailand and promote practical cooperation for sustainable development and mutual growth.

The two sides will also review bilateral cooperation and discuss priorities for expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
