On September 2, 2026, in Vientiane Capital, Mr. Khamlavanh Chanthalavanh, President of the Lao Red Cross, received Ms. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, for a courtesy call to discuss bilateral cooperation.
(KPL) On September 2, 2026, in Vientiane Capital, Mr. Khamlavanh Chanthalavanh, President of the Lao Red Cross, received Ms. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Lao PDR, for a courtesy call to discuss bilateral cooperation.
Mr. Khamlavanh warmly welcomed the Thai ambassador and expressed appreciation for her visit, saying it would contribute to further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Laos and Thailand and their peoples.
He also expressed gratitude to the Government of Thailand for its continued assistance to the Lao PDR, which he said has helped strengthen the two countries’ good-neighbourly relations.
Ms. Krongkanit expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and reception extended by the Lao Red Cross president.
