The meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Laos in Vientiane on March 23.
During the discussion, Phongsavanh praised Dang Thi Hai Tam for her contributions during her three-year tenure from April 2023 to April 2026. He highlighted her role in strengthening cooperation between the Lao provinces of Savannakhet Province, Khammouane Province, and Bolikhamxay Province and various Vietnamese localities.
Officials noted several key achievements during her mission, including organizing educational visits for teachers and students to historical sites linked to Lao-Vietnam relations, coordinating disaster relief cooperation between border provinces, and supporting education and development projects funded by Vietnam.
