ຂປລ The Traffic Police Department has announced a temporary suspension of vehicle license plate registration and installation services from January 5 to 9, 2026.

(KPL) The Traffic Police Department has announced a temporary suspension of vehicle license plate registration and installation services from January 5 to 9, 2026.

The suspension is due to the deployment of all personnel to maintain security, public order, and traffic management during the 12th National Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.

The service centers affected include:

Thong Pong Vehicle Plate Management Division

Xaythany District Branch at Kilometre 16

Naxaithong District Nam Souang Branch

Hatsaxayfong District Dong Phosy Branch

Pak Ngum District Na Son Branch

Authorities stated that normal services will resume after January 9. Vehicle owners are advised to plan ahead to avoid inconvenience.
