2025 Lao Gold Festival, the First in Laos, to Be Held in Early September

ຂປລ The first Lao Gold Festival will take place from September 5–7, 2025 at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane. A press conference to announce the event was held on August 22, 2025. Organizers expect around 30,000 people to attend, including participants from both Laos and abroad.

(KPL) The first Lao Gold Festival will take place from September 5–7, 2025 at the National Convention Hall in Vientiane. A press conference to announce the event was held on August 22, 2025. Organizers expect around 30,000 people to attend, including participants from both Laos and abroad.

Mr. Chanthone Sitthixay, General Director of Lao Gold Bank Limited and Chairman of the Festival Organizing Committee, said that the Lao Gold Festival will become an annual national event. He explained that the festival will bring together all sectors of the gold industry and related fields. It will also promote the growth of the Lao gold industry, attract tourists, preserve Lao culture and traditions, and support socio-economic development.

He added that the first Lao Gold Festival in 2025 shows the commitment of Lao Gold Bank to support and develop the gold industry. The event will also create opportunities for Lao people to take part in sustainable and diverse economic growth.

Objectives of the Festival

The objectives of the Lao Gold Festival 2025 are: To develop the Lao gold industry to meet international standards, to improve the quality of Lao gold products so they can compete in the global market.

To promote creativity and innovation in the gold sector and related industries, to help people understand the cultural value of gold in Lao traditions, to create opportunities for learning, entertainment, and business networking.

Festival Highlights

The festival will feature a high-level seminar where experts can share knowledge and discuss the future of the gold industry. It will also include the launch of the LBB PLUS application, which will allow people in Laos to trade and invest in gold online safely and transparently.

There will be 50 gold shops and 15 silk shops at the exhibition. A fashion show will present gold jewelry and silk designs. In addition, the festival will host business networking activities for entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.

The Lao Gold Festival 2025 will be a major step for Laos. It will help the gold industry grow and connect with regional and international markets.
