ຂປລ The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, on behalf of the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, has awarded the Medal of Friendship to Ms. Li Yiping, Director of the China Cultural Center in Laos. The honor was presented on the occasion of her completion of duties in the Lao PDR.

(KPL) The Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, on behalf of the Government of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, has awarded the Medal of Friendship to Ms. Li Yiping, Director of the China Cultural Center in Laos. The honor was presented on the occasion of her completion of duties in the Lao PDR.

The medal was formally awarded by Ms. Suansavanh Viyaket, Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, during a ceremony attended by Ms. Fang Hong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Laos, along with ministry officials, department heads, and other invited guests.

Ms. Li Yiping was recognized for her outstanding contributions between 2021 and 2025. Her efforts significantly advanced human resource development and cultural exchange in the fields of information, culture, and tourism. These contributions have played an important role in deepening the friendship and cooperation between Laos and China.

As part of the ceremony, an art performance was held under the theme "Dialogue and Connection." In addition, an exhibition of international youth paintings from both Laos and China was showcased. These cultural activities further highlighted the strong and growing partnership between the two countries.

The event celebrated the deepening friendship and the shared socialist partnership of destiny between Laos and China. It also reflected ongoing cooperation symbolized by major connectivity projects such as the Lao-China Railway and other regional links. At the same time, the event demonstrated the diversity and richness of ongoing artistic and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
