Deputy Head of LPRP External Relations Commission Receives Vietnamese Ambassador for Lao New Year Greetings

ຂປລ Mr. Valaxay Lengsavath, Deputy Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee (LPRPCC) Commission for External Relations, received H.E. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Lao PDR, who visited with embassy officials and representatives of Vietnamese agencies in Laos to extend greetings on the occasion of Lao New Year 2568.

(KPL, April 10, 2025)  Mr. Valaxay Lengsavath, Deputy Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee (LPRPCC) Commission for External Relations, received H.E. Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to the Lao PDR, who visited with embassy officials and representatives of Vietnamese agencies in Laos to extend greetings on the occasion of Lao New Year 2568.

On behalf of the Party Committee, leadership, and staff of the Commission, Mr. Valaxay expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam and his delegation for their warm New Year wishes, which he said reflected the strong bonds of friendship, solidarity, and goodwill between the two nations.

Mr. Valaxay praised the Embassy of Vietnam for its close coordination with the External Relations Commission and various Lao sectors. He emphasized the embassy’s vital role in fostering collaboration, facilitating the implementation of high-level agreements, and encouraging ministries, organizations, provinces, and enterprises of both countries to work together toward shared goals. These efforts, he noted, contribute significantly to strengthening the special solidarity, great friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam, in turn, congratulated the Lao Party, government, and people on their progress, including the successful implementation of the 11th Party Congress resolutions and preparations for the 12th Congress. He commended the Commission for External Relations for its key contributions to the achievements of the Lao PDR and to fostering the enduring relationship between the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely together to effectively implement agreements reached by senior leaders. Both parties pledged to do their utmost to further deepen the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and all-around cooperation between Laos and Vietnam for generations to come.
