(KPL) An exhibition titled "70 Years of the Birth and Growth of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party" was held at the Kaysone Phomvihane Museum in Vientiane today, March 21.
The event was attended by the Secretary General of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and State President, Thongloun Sisoulith; Party Central Committee (PCC) Politburo member and Prime Minister, Sonexay Siphandone; other PCC Politburo members; and members of the PCC Secretariat.
Mr. Khamphanh Pheuyavong, Head of the Party Central Committee Propaganda and Training Board, highlighted that the exhibition featured nearly 300 images, documents, and artefacts. These materials showcased significant, profound, and impactful political events, reflecting the evolution, robust growth, and distinguished leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party.


The exhibition underscores the Party's proud and dignified history, as well as its remarkable achievements in leading the Lao people to victory in the national liberation struggle.
It also highlights the Party's ongoing efforts in national protection, development, and renovation over the decades.
The exhibition serves as a vital platform for educating the public about the Party's noble traditions. It emphasizes learning from the exemplary moral qualities and revolutionary spirit of President Kaysone Phomvihane and other leaders who devoted their lives to the national revolutionary cause. By honouring the Party's glorious victories, the event aims to promote national prosperity and ensure the happiness and well-being of the Lao people.
