ຂປລ Australian Minister for Defence Industry and Capability Delivery, the Hon Pat Conroy MP, is attending the 11th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) in Laos this week.

(KPL) Australian Minister for Defence Industry and Capability Delivery, the Hon Pat Conroy MP, is attending the 11^th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus (ADMM-Plus) in Laos this week.

Conroy will engage in the ADMM-Plus plenary, meet with ASEAN and regional partners, and co-host a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Australia’s partnership with ASEAN.

The ADMM-Plus, the region’s premier defence dialogue, includes the 10 ASEAN nations, ASEAN’s eight dialogue partners, and Timor-Leste. This highlights Australia’s commitment to regional peace, stability, and prosperity, with ASEAN at its core.

Minister Conroy stated: “I am honoured to represent Australia at the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting Plus. This milestone year underscores the importance of our relationship with ASEAN nations and our shared vision for a peaceful Indo-Pacific.”
