ຂປລ (KPL​) Laos will hold a cultural festival to show the richness of Lao culture, expecting to attract thousands of visitors as Laos steps up efforts to welcome more domestic and international tourists during Visit Laos Year 2024.

(KPL​) Laos will hold a cultural festival to show the richness of Lao culture, expecting to attract thousands of visitors as Laos steps up efforts to welcome more domestic and international tourists during Visit Laos Year 2024.
The festival is taking place from March 22 to March 24 at Pheuksa Garden, a cultural tourism destination in Naxaithong district of Lao capital Vientiane, according to Xinhua News Agency reported on Tuesday.
The main activities during the festival include the opening ceremony for the Lao Tourism Year in Naxaithong district, the opening of a cultural exhibition hall for 50 ethnic groups and almsgiving.
There will also be a parade and several performances and activities, such as a procession by youth and ethnic groups, a group dance by 200 people, a parade by models, a lantern dance and an exhibition of local products.
Visitors will see the power and the beauty of the culture of Laos and its tribes during the festival.
In addition, visitors will be able to enjoy shows and exhibits featuring the arts, traditions, culture and products of ethnic groups.
