(KPL) The Lao House Market Fair will be held at the Song Lao House  (Thatluang Temple), Vientiane between March 7 and 10.

The event also aims to promote made-in-Lao products such as agricultural products, handicrafts, and textiles.

“The Lao House Fair aims to attract more domestic and foreign visitors to the Lao PDR, particularly to Vientiane, thus promoting Visit Laos Year 2024 and the Lao PDR's ASEAN Chairmanship 2024. This will make foreigners know the lifestyles of Lao people, how they dress, eat and live a normal life,” said Mrs Phennapha Vongsamoraphum, manager of CNP Import-Export Trading and organizer of Lao House Market Fair.

There will be also a Lao cultural and folksong show featuring cultural values of ethnic groups and a film screening event which will help visitors better understand the history of revered Pha That Luang.

“If this fair is successful or it can attract more visitors, we will continue to organize it every day so that both domestic and foreign tourists can enjoy it every day,” said Mrs Phennapha Vongsatharpoom.
