Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone received Dith Tina, Cambodia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and his delegation during a courtesy call in Vientiane on June 23 as part of their official visit to the Lao PDR.
The Prime Minister welcomed Minister Dith Tina and his delegation, saying the visit reflects the close and longstanding ties between Laos and Cambodia. He noted that it would help further strengthen cooperation and mutual support between the two countries, particularly between the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and Cambodia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Prime Minister Sonexay also expressed confidence that continued collaboration would deepen bilateral relations and deliver practical benefits for both sides.
Minister Dith Tina thanked the Lao government for its warm hospitality and briefed the Prime Minister on the purpose of the delegation’s visit. He also shared the outcomes of bilateral discussions between the two ministries, which focused on expanding cooperation in agriculture, forestry and related sectors.
