Vice President Pany Yathotou Bids Farewell to Outgoing Canadian Ambassador

ຂປລ Vice President Pany Yathotou, officially received a farewell visit from Ms. Ping Kinikone, Ambassador of Canada to the Lao PDR, marking the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in Laos.

(KPL) Vice President, Ms Pany Yathotou, officially received a farewell visit from Ms. Ping Kinikone, Ambassador of Canada to the Lao PDR, marking the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in Laos.

During the meeting, Vice President Yathotou extended a warm welcome and heartfelt appreciation to Ambassador Kinikone for her dedication and successful service. She commended the Ambassador’s significant contributions to strengthening the bonds of friendship and enhancing bilateral cooperation between Laos and Canada, especially in areas supporting the socio-economic development of the Lao PDR.

Vice President Yathotou also offered her best wishes for the Ambassador’s continued success in future endeavors and a safe return to Canada.

Ambassador Kinikone, in turn, expressed sincere gratitude to the Vice President for the warm reception and support received during her tenure. She acknowledged the valuable cooperation from the Lao government, Party and State leaders and people, which she said had greatly facilitated her work and helped her mission succeed.

Looking ahead, Ambassador Kinikone expressed confidence that her successor would continue to build on the positive momentum of Canada-Laos relations, further deepening cooperation and mutual understanding between the two nations.

The farewell meeting highlighted the ongoing commitment of both countries to further strengthen their partnership and diplomatic ties in the years to come.
