The event runs until July 6 at the Havana-based Conference Center, with seven congresses in which professionals from 18 countries will participate.

Among the activities is the exhibition fair promoting the exchange of sustainable technologies, experiences, and practices in different contexts.

Advances in marine sciences, studies conducted at Cuban research centers, and several experiences related to communication, sanitation, and recycling, among other areas, are on display.

International organizations, government agencies, companies, universities, research centers, service centers, non-government organizations, tourist agencies, protected areas, and other entities are exhibiting in a central part of the Conference Center.

All these organizations are committed to building a sustainable society through improved relationships with themselves, with others, and with the nature of which they are a part.
