Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, on Jan 1 extended to the fraternal Cuban people his congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Latin-American country’s revolution.
(KPL/Prensa Latina) Secretary General of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) and President of Laos, Thongloun Sisoulith, on Jan 1 extended to the fraternal Cuban people his congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the triumph of the Latin-American country’s revolution.
In a message sent to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and Cuban Head of State, Miguel Díaz-Canel, the Laotian leader expressed his certainty in the future strengthening of bilateral ties.
I am sure that the traditional ties of friendship and cooperation existing between our Parties, governments and peoples, based on mutual understanding and solid camaraderie and solidarity, will be further strengthened and reach a new level for common benefit, wrote Sisoulith.
The letter also expresses to Díaz-Canel the wishes of greater success in the tasks derived from his high responsibility, “and to the brotherly Cuban people, continued progress and prosperity.”
Also Prime Minister, Sonexay Siphandone and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thongsavanh Phomvihane have sent respectively messages to the Cuban counterparts Manuel Marrero and Bruno Rodriguez.
