(KPL) The natural tourist attraction of Sienglu Waterfall in Boualapha District, Khammuan Province, being developed by a concessionary Sai Phu Luang Group with a total investment of more than USD12 million, is expected to open next month.

The development project, fully invested by the local company,  is on a concession period of 40 years.

Currently, the developer is improving basic infrastructure including access roads and walkways to the waterfall, toilets and other basic facilities.

“We are focusing on building facilities so that we can contribute to realizing the province’s goal of opening two new tourist attractions - Khun Kong Le in Hinboun District and Tat Sienglu in Boualapha District – this year,” said President of Sai Phu Luang Group Amphone Bounyalath.

“As for our services in the initial stage of the project, the focus will be placed on opening restaurants, toilets, trekking bridges, waterfall viewing points and lodging facilities. Then we will launch lodging services, zipline activities, photography spots, and other facilities to serve the needs of visitors,” said Mr Amphone Bounyalath.
