The project encompasses a medium-voltage grid covering 143.08 kilometers and a low-voltage network extending 9.55 kilometers, along with the installation of 19 transformers. The infrastructure will link key areas from Khalang Village to Sa Village and from Nam Long Dam to Pakhouy Village in Long District, improving energy distribution throughout Luang Namtha Province.

With a total investment of 218.7 billion kip, the construction is anticipated to span four years, underpinned by state funding as part of the 2024 investment plan. Survey and design activities began in mid-2021, following a competitive procurement process to ensure compliance with national standards.
