(KPL) The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic has announced that President Thongloun Sisoulith will lead a high-level delegation on an official visit to the Russian Federation from May 8 to 10, 2025.

The visit, made at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation between the two nations. During the trip, President Thongloun is also scheduled to attend the 80th anniversary celebration of Russia’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
