Athletes representing the Ministry of National Defense delivered a stellar performance at the 12th National Games (Vientiane Games 2025), winning four consecutive gold medals and bringing pride to both their team.
First Gold: Ms. Phouthalath Innud triumphed in the women’s 5,000-m race, crossing the finish line with an impressive time of 20:01:08.
Second Gold: Mr. Saidavanh Vongsavanh secured the gold in the men’s long jump, achieving a remarkable distance of 7.02 meters.
Third Gold: The Ministry’s track and field team claimed victory in the 4×400-m mixed relay, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, coordination, and strategy.
Fourth Gold: Mr. Bounchan Sengaroun completed the Ministry’s sweep by winning the men’s 5,000-m race, adding the fourth gold medal to the team’s tally.
