Vietnamese, Lao Party Central Committees' Organisation Commissions strengthen cooperative ties

KPL (KPL/VNA) A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Organisation Commission led by its Vice Chairman Phan Thang An had a meeting with Boutsady Thanamueang, Vice Chairwoman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee's Organisation Commission as part of their working visit to Laos from September 10-12.

(KPL/VNA) A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Organisation Commission led by its Vice Chairman Phan Thang An had a meeting with Boutsady Thanamueang, Vice Chairwoman of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee's Organisation Commission as part of their working visit to Laos from September 10-12.

At the event, the two sides updated each other on their situation, the results of Party building as well as the implementation of cooperation agreements between the two Parties and States, the progress in training Lao language skills for Vietnam’s leading officials and managers, and the outcomes of the cooperation agreement between the two Organisation Commissions.

They agreed to maintain delegation exchanges between the two commissions in the coming years.

The two sides also pledged to continue exchanging information and sharing experiences in the Party and political system building, contributing to the successful implementation of resolutions of each Party Congress and the high-level agreements between the CPV Central Committee’s Politburo and the LPRP Central Committee's Politburo.

They reached consensus on stepping up the communications about the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos among officials, Party members, and the public, especially the younger generations.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegation also had meetings with representatives of departments of the LPRP Central Committee’s Organisation Commission. They agreed that in the coming time, the two departments will maintain close coordination, and boost cooperation and mutual support on professional affairs to fulfill their assigned tasks.
