(KPL) In Xayaboury, more than 600 out of over 7,000 returning workers from Thailand have been allowed to go home after having been quarantined for 14 days at quarantine centres across the province.

Over 6,000 workers are currently being quarantined in 124 quarantine centres across the province. They are monitored by relevant officials on daily basis according to anti-covid-19 guidelines.

“As for those allowed to go home, we have suggested them to take care of their health and avoid going to crowded places. They have also been given flyers containing medical advice and telephone numbers which they can call when they have any inquiries about Covid-19,” said Mr. Southath Kayleuth, Deputy Head of Disease Control Section, Department of Health of Xayaboury province.
