(KPL) No Covid-19 has been confirmed today. As a result the number of infection cases in the country currently stays at 10 including 7 in Vientiane Capital and 3 in touristy Luang Prabang. There has been no deaths related to Covid-19 in the Lao PDR.

Tests were conducted for 61 people in Vientiane Capital and five other provinces yesterday and none of them tested positive for Covid-19, according to Dr. Rattanaxay Phetsouvanh, Director General, Department of Communicable Disease Control, Ministry of Health.
As of Thursday, Covid-19 has infected more than 939,400 in more than 180 countries and regions worldwide, and killed more than 47,200 people. These include more than 216,000 infection cases in the US, over 110,000 in Italy, over 104,000 in Spain, more than 82,000 in China and almost 78,000 in Germany, according to Johns Hopkins University, USA.
